Northern Irish Cross-Atlantic Production duo based between the USA and Belfast, NI. Members consist of Luachra Malone-Scott (vocals, production, guitar, programming) and Ben Murray (guitar, production, mix, programming) who met in University. Having not interacted much during their first year, the duo established their partnership amidst the first lockdown in the spring of 2020 having reached out to each-other remotely to help with home productions. Establishing a shared love of Jadu Heart, Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and much more, Phantom Limb set out making tunes between each-others student flats and houses set with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, one microphone and two Fender guitars. Luachra re-located to the USA in 2021 with most of an EP done, finishing it remotely whenever the duo found the time between working dead-end jobs and multiple re-locations. The first bulk of tracks were mixed back in Belfast by Ben before they met again in the Bay Area of North California in Winter 2022 to finally launch the project with the release of their debut track 'Motion' featuring Belfast rap artist Daniel August.
