Khallid Ahmad Benson, known as Element Jetson, is a rapper residing from the southern region of Florida whose mixtape series from 2008 to 2013 began to attract more ears to his lyrical prowess. From his debut album “The Michelangelo Project” to present day, Element Jetson has demonstrated a bevy of musical abilities that has blossomed into a skillset that can make a case as second to none regarding music of today. From influences that ranges from Norman Conners, Nina Simone and Stevie Wonder to A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, & Lil’ Wayne, this past year especially, Element has cultivated his artistry into something too rebellious to fairly assess with typical standards. Yet, has managed to posses a sound welcoming enough to persuade the listener into being engulfed within the mind of Element Jetson.
