Immersed in personal politics that defined early soul and jazz, Zetroc is the musical manifestation of multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, Jamey Brown. Initially emerging as an instrumental artist, Brown as Zetroc eventually honed his affinity for lyricism, leading up to the release of his debut EP, Atrophy. The self-produced release is a study in catharsis, yearning, and fervency that radiates through its seven tracks while Zetroc wrestles with love, loss, misdirection and hope with subtle electronic loops, lush keys, and ethereal croons.
