Born and raised in Philadelphia, Privaledge grew up listening to music from Jay Z, Biggie, Tupac, Nas, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Lil Wayne, T.I. and Jeezy. Rocafella, State Property and Dipset was a musical influence growing up on the east coast. West Coast musicians Privaledge grew listening to was Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre, as far as the midwest Eminem & Nelly. His favorite producers growing up was Timberland, Swizz Beats and Pharrell. Kendrick Lamar appeared on his mixtape 'The Playbook'. Trina appeared on Privaledge's mixtape JoeWorld, the record "Thinking Of You" was also released as an extended version on her mixtape Back 2 Business. Nipsey Hussle featured on "Cold" a release on Privaledge's JoeWold mixtape. "Rolls Royce" featuring Kevin Durant is one of the popular records from JoeWorld. 2014 'Rolls Royce' was played during the NBA playoff during the Suns Vs. Wolves game. 'Worried Bout Tomorrow' was featured on Jimmy Kimmel. Privaledge's song 'Get It Poppin' was used in MTV 's Catfish. DJ Mustard and YG featured on Privaledge's mixtape 'The Playbook' with a record called 'Neva Did'. SLAM magazine issue 150 features James Harden and Privaledge with Philadelphia legend Allen Iverson on the cover.
