Arguably one of the greatest undiscovered lyricists to be born out of Generation Z, Peezy Mercury is a cosmic force to be reckoned with. Hailing from Concord California, born to two Angolan Immigrants, Peezy Mercury moved to Houston, Texas at age five and spent a considerable portion of his adolescence studying music, most notably Hip-hop, Pop, & EDM. After growing up immersed in 2000s Hip-hop and R&B, he fell in love with the stylings of many legendary artists of the 2010s including but not limited to, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Tyler, the Creator, Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Joey Bada$$, Migos, Drake, Future, Ski Mask the Slump God, ScHoolBoy Q, The Weeknd, Vince Staples, Ab-Soul, & Ugly God to name a few. During his teenage years, he spent a considerable amount of time exploring multiple genres of music namely Indie Music, Rock Music (both Alternative & Classic), Alternative Hip-Hop & R&B, Soul, Grime, Reggaeton, Afro-Pop & Dancehall, & even Showtunes. Peezy Mercury is an independent artist of many facets. A true student of the game, he refuses to allow complacency amongst his labelmates and intends on pushing the boundaries of sound whilst spearheading his indie record label by the name of Mob M3nt4lity Records LLC.
