J-MAC is a St. Louis native hailing from the city of Kinloch. Raised in Ferguson J-MAC experienced the harsh reality of racial profiling and police brutality first hand. His ruff style and brash delivery was developed from his experiences. At an early age J-MAC learned to rap by emulating his uncle King Drew Mac. He began writing raps and spitting them in his high school hallways and before long he became known as a dope lyricist and one of the best in the city! He learned his grind from his uncle Otis Mac who he watched hustle. J-Mac is one of the most prolific writers of his time and one of the originators of rap music in Little Rock Arkansas.
