Introducing YK The Pilot (aka YK Cleveland), an artist and producer from Cleveland, Ohio who has been nominated for two Ohio Hip Hop Awards, two years straight and whose work has been showcased on MTV, Terretrial FM radio and featured in XXL Magazine. He has sold over 5,000 copies of his debut "Schoolhouse The Mixtape" series with hip-hip group "J-squad" (Cleveland)(2007). 
 Starting as a freestyle battle rapper and high school house party dj, YK the Pilot also known as DJ turnaround started an independent label and released his debut underground rap album called derogatory language in 2003. He was afforded opportunities to open and perform for artists like shawty Lo and mike jones and to produce for green city a group from Killeen, Texas signed to the legendary Scarface. By 2005 he had transitioned to being more of a music producer and songwriter with occasional features but from 2005 to 2009 he didn’t record or release music as an artist.
