Jonathan Chawanangwa Chitaya (born October 26th, 1998) is a Malawian-American singer, songwriter, producer, and composer. Born in Southwest Michigan, he was raised and participated in his local churches and grew up under the influence of music in his home. Having just come into the scenes as an amateur independent artist in 2018, Chitaya released his first original single titled, "Keep It Real." In 2019, He then went to release his next single, "Are You the One?" featuring Nigerian artist and friend to Chitaya, Bayomi. He has written, composed, and recorded "Love in Peace" by Children of the Cross, an acapella singing group of some of Chitaya's family members. As J.Cam.G continues to enter the industry, he brings a unique, artistic character that is able to entertain, inspire, and motivate his audience. Finishing his last year in college attending Western Michigan University, Chitaya is further working to start his career and is preparing to become next in line.
