Tim Jayne is Partial, a Bass Music producer based in Portland, Oregon. His sound is rooted firmly in the dark side of bass music, pulling inspiration from Neuro, Dubstep, Half-time, DnB and Hip Hop. Partial is a growing figure in the Portland music scene. His performances are known to be high energy, while staying dark and bass forward. He pulls from a wide array of musical and cultural knowledge to lead the listener through an evolving and uniquely personal listening experience. 2020 is already off to a great start for Partial with his ‘A$AP Rocky - Babushka Boi Flip’, gaining support from the likes of Beat Lab Radio, Disguised Collectives Weekly Playlist, Noer The Boy, and more. Followed up quickly by the single ‘Chuckles’ which dropped at the end of January and was immediately covered by the blog Beats For Dayz which included a interview with Partial. Beyond the Partial project, Tim is also the founder, management, and booker for Go To Your Room Records where he is gathering a vast and impressive register of bass music talents from Portland and around the world. G2YR is also currently in the process of setting up a string of shows to debut as a monthly in Portland. On top of running a label and throwing parties, Tim also teaches Ableton/music production lessons and helps with mixing and mastering for producers around town and G2YR submissions.
