During the summer of 2004, I walked into a club called Palace, downtown Reykjavík. It was early in the evening and I was the first to arrive. I didn't know what kind of place Palace was, but in the DJ booth setting up for the night was a guy that looked out of this world. I thought to myself "That guy is for sure out of some crazy subculture. I don´t know what it is, but I need to be a part of that". The DJ that night was DJ Deveus, and the crazy subculture turned out to be Psychedelic trance. That night I heard psytrance for the first time in my life and knew immediately that that was the music I had been looking for my whole life. Soon after that, me and Deveus (and Extream, the other resident PSY dj) became close friends. Then I became a DJ. Then I became a producer. Fast forward to today, my tracks have appeared on albums with Astrix, Sonic Species and more amazing artists ;D
