Jim Parker is a Canadian singer/songwriter who writes and records in both the world of rock music and children's entertainment. Having been in the entertainment industry since the 1970's, he has recorded 8 albums of original music (2 children's and 6 rock) and has now begun working on his ninth. He is best known for the many years he worked with Canadian children's entertainment icon, MR. DRESSUP both on the national television show as a writer, performer and puppeteer and also for his live appearances across the country. He released his first album, AROUND THE WORLD in 1988 and has made a new record every 3 or 4 years since. His latest release, MAKE BELIEVE, is a collection of 16 original songs all inspired by the sounds and styles of the 1960's.
