Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica. Mr Patrick Taylor, better known as Mr. Diamond discovered his voice in his local church choir. His vocal range, lyrical style and unmistakable sound distinguish him from other Reggae/Dancehall Artiste. His Jamaican roots influence his creativity as a Singer/Songwriter and powers his musical delivery and exhilarating Stage presence. Mr. Diamond nurtures his talents through stage performances and utilizes Jamaican Sound System Culture, to enhance his talent and expand his versatility as a vocalist. His musical range extends from Reggae and Dancehall through to RnB. He draws influence from Artiste such as, Beres Hammond, Wayne Wonder, Luciano and the late Garnett Silk. Mr. Diamond has performed on international stages including, The Birmingham Academy, Victoria Square, Alexandra Park, Hootananny and The Riverside Festival (UK ENGLAND), He also performed at the Civo Stadium in Lilongwe, Malawi (AFRICA), Magnum Explosion Inferno @ Jean Pierre Complex (TRINIDAD & TOBAGO), White Sands Africa @ Carambola Beach Club (ST KITTS). Mr. Diamond has featured in television interviews on shows such as: EXPOSURE (ITV) on Sky Channel UK, SMILE JAMAICA (TVJ) and HYPE TV Jamaica. His talent has propelled him to share the stage with legends such as: The late- Sir John Holt, Marcia Griffiths, The Mighty Diamonds, Beres Hammond, Big Youth, Freddy McGregor, Luciano, Sanchez, Queen Ifrica, Beenie Man, Busy Signal, Mikey Spice, Taurus Riley and a host of others.
