Damon Alexander Hendricks Jr. (Polo Boy Shawty) was born November 21st, 1994 in Peoria IL later moving to Chicago to pursue a career in music. Overtime he has accumulated collaborations with artists like Lil Yachty, GHerbo, Famous Dex, Playboi Carti, and many others. While many believe Polo to only be a producer he actually started off as an artist and began making beats for himself to use back in 2010. His love for music grew and quickly gained the attention of many once he started devoting almost all of his time to producing music and dropping beats on websites like Youtube, Soundcloud & Soundclick. Soundcloud is where he met and formed the production group known as Beat Pluggz alongside members StoopidXool, MexikoDro, A$att Beats, Corey Lingo, and Beat Plugg Two. Over the years they presented such a captivating sound for the underground producing for some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop today. Now many placements & opportunities later, Polo is looking to work and build with new artist all while releasing music of his own. He first dropped a Ep titled "On The Track" playing off of his infamous signature tag line "Polo Boy Shawty On The Track So I'm Killin It" later following it up with his latest releases "So I'm Killin It 1 & 2". He is planning on releasing a final instalment of his So I'm Killin It series in the beginning of 2022. "I just want to keep pushing the boundaries and influencing the culture."
