David "Poncho" Jenkins was born in Chicago Heights, Ill. 15mins outside of downtown Chicago! Along with his mother and younger brother, Poncho moved to Minnesota in 2001 at the age of 12. He began rapping during the last few months of his senior year of high school, 2007! At age 17 the new rapper was extremely shy, but as he continued to release music and gain public approval he began exerting great confidence! Poncho has always and will forever remain a humble soul, yet still, once in the booth or the moment 'Cho' hits the stage a slight cockiness becomes present. He takes his music very serious and looks to make big things happen for himself, his family and MN!
