Longfellow are Owen Lloyd, James Thomas, Ali Hetherington and Simon Treasure. They began their journey in South East London, gigging and writing relentlessly as they crafted their unique blend of melodic alt-pop. In 2014, debut EP "Prelude" was born, a collection of heartfelt bedroom recordings representing tales of youth, love and hardship. As the band honed their skills, debut single "Siamese Lover" was spun by Jo Wiley on BBC Radio 2, debuted on 6Music with Steve Lamacq and chosen as BBC Introducing single of the week by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1. Follow up EP "Remedy" continued this momentum, earning UK support at BBC Radio 2, 6Music and Absolute Radio as well as a host of live sessions at Maida Vale, Radio X and 3FM. On the live front they have sold out London’s prestigious Bush Hall, headlined the BBC Introducing stage at Hyde Park and have showcased across the Atlantic at SXSW, CMJ and MUSEXPO. Support slots include the likes of Keane, Hall & Oates and Royal Blood, demonstrating their talent to gain fans from all walks of life. The band released their eponymous debut album in November 2019.
