Kopano Morobane also known as Koppz Deep is an Amapiano producer/Dj from Daveyton in the East Rand of Johannesburg South Africa, growing up in a musical family with large influences from his father who was part of a band and played drums which led the foundation for his production and passion for music. Koppz Deep’s sound is inspired by music from jazz legends like Jimmy Dludlu, Sipho Hot Stixx Mabuza and deep house icons like Dukesoul with his groovy percussions. Koppz Deep started his first projects in 2016 producing deep house but soon caught the Amapiano bug, having started in deep house merging the two sounds moulded his unique sound and versatility towards the Amapiano sound giving Amapiano purists the most authentic bodies of work that don’t ever dare to cheat the creative process.
