Opelsings, R&B singer/songwriter began in a girl group of friends called Monje in New Haven, CT becoming the youngest recipients of the Duke Ellington Award from the Yale School of Jazz Music and won first place on BET's Teen Summit talent competition broadcasted nationwide. Opel returned to London, UK releasing her debut single BE THE ONE written by Monje. The caribbean inspired track was dedicate to their cousin and dear friend Charkea P. Neal. Her next single was SLEEP ALONE, and then LOOKING FOR LOVE was released on Renegade Soul Record and crept up the R&B charts becoming a hot single infused with a message of self love. It was featured on WYBC the rhythm of the City and DJ Ace's playlist on BBC1Xtra to name a few. She released a string of singles all produced by Kardo Blonde, WYD, ADDICTED, SAME OLD STORY. Collaborating on the next single IN MY BED with Princeton Brown and Mr. M.A.R.S. She then united with Mega Producer Chazz Oliver for STAY where she paints a pretty picture of heartbreak. WYD was then remixed into a UK garage classic by DJ KrissiB featuring Mr. Hunts in summer 2023.
