Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Teflon Don obtained his name while in the military. He created beats on pots and pans while free-styling being a cook in the Us Army in Fort Hood Texas, he was gifted the name Teflon Don. Throughout Teflon Don's career, he has experimented with a variety of genres, including Hiphop, R&B, and Afrobeat. His unique style blends elements of these genres to create a sound that is entirely his own soulful hiphop. Teflon Don's musical journey has been marked by a series of notable achievements.
