As with most successful artists, KingGoldBills found his passion for music early on in life and quickly realized the creative process struggle that would come along with it. Being born and partly raised in Atlanta, GA, KingGold and his family ended up moving at a crucial age in development. To make things harder, KingGold grew up a in single parent household with one sibling which wasn’t easy. It was during this transition phase of in life where he lost his friends and connections that KingGold really started to better himself as an artist. Being vocally trained in his community church choir with his brother, he learned to draw inspiration from his childhood hardships and filter it into his music. “It was when I moved to Delaware in which I realized I had gift for writing music. I remember playing on my mom’s Blackberry phone and using the voice recordings to freestyle words that came to my head.” Years later, after perfecting his skills as a vocalist and lyricist, KingGold is ready to share his talents with the rest of the world. “Moving forward with the stage name KingGoldBills (KGB), I’m going to make it a brand. I want people to see me and be inspired. I want my music to motivate others to chase after what they want, with no hesitation regarding the natural obstacles that are set up to stop them from living their best life. KGBE (KingGoldBills Entertainment) is more than music, it’s art.”
