Growing up in New Orleans East, Robert Windsay (also known by his stage name Beeisthefuture) soaked up his hometown’s culture and influence. Starting out recording records with his best friend, they recorded under the name “HeartBreak Kidz” which would soon change a few times until Bee went full force with his solo career. He started to produce at 18 cultivating a new sound without realizing it. His goal was just to have original beats for himself and he didn’t want to bother or ask anyone for beats so he started making them. The eclectic and futuristic sound helped him stand out and has gotten him comparisons to his idols, Co-signs from reputable figures, and fans around the world. His mission was started simply to uplift people that could relate and offer something fresh to hip hop. As the time goes on, his stage name grows more into form and remains true.
