“I’m known for a few things, but nobody’s ever called me quiet” says Maeve Brennan, UK artist based in Brighton, who is making her debut appearance on the music scene with her 2022 single ‘Ray Trippin (featuring Orion Paxx)’. 
 Maeve’s music boasts thick vocals and layers of harmony inspired by artists such as Jordan Rakei, Mahalia, Lauryn Hill, Grace Carter, Leanne La Havas and Erykah Badu, combined with carefully crafted production and musicianship with help from from King Kuda (Brighton based Indie-electronica band) and Toby Horton (MD for Grace Carter) to meet her love of Hip Hop and RnB/soul. She delves deep into the depths of sound to voice her heart on its musical sleeve, and the collaborative nature in which she loves making music really does give a full feeling to her sound. You can hear multiple influences everywhere, including the feature of artist and rapper ‘Orion Paxx’ in Ray Trippin.
