Born and raised in Gary, Indiana (home of the Jacksons), Lyrical Truth (born LaTasha Gary) grew up listening to artists like Nas, Jay-Z and Tupac. "Since the age of 4, I remember always being around music, especially rap. I grew up on the greats and developed a love for the art of music." Lyrical comes with a raw, deep passion for storytelling and a unique flow that captures the attention of audiences. "I write for the kids who feel hopeless and feel that they don't have a voice in this cruel, dark, lonely world. I don't expect everyone to understand, but I know there are a few that can relate."
