Marvin Binns hails from the parish of Manchester on the island of Jamaica. At the age of 10, he was ushered into the youth choir of his local church. Inspired by great singers such as Stevie Wonder, Beres Hammond, Donell Jones, Carl Thomas, Garnett Silk, Dennis Brown, and King of Reggae Bob Marley, Marvin Binns choose music as a career with the perfect combination of R&B and Reggae melodies. In 2002, when Marvin and his twin brother Marlon Binns emerged he provided backup vocals for his brother when it became noticeable that he was no ordinary talent. Jamaica's Dancehall icon Bounty Killer became the first to record a collaboration with him entitled "Love Girls" and pivoted his ratings on a whole other level. Many collaborations followed including work with Grammy-winning producers Sly and Robbie. Soft spoken, easy going Marvin has opened and shared the stage with several popular Jamaican Stars across the Caribbean USA, and Canada. One of his most memorable performances was an opening for Kranium in 2016 at the Amazuru Concert Hall in New York where he had screaming ladies and music-loving men applauding him for his rendition of Bitty McLeans' all-time hit song, Walk Away From Love. Marvin Binns is a talented Jamaican recording artist who is driven by pleasing his audience. A voice that goes beyond boundaries and gets more melodious with age.
