Dot Gidda (jEE - dah), an independent hip hop artist, is one of few rappers that define himself as a “cinematic storyteller”. He best describes his music as innovative, creating that perfect balance of high energy stage presence with intense, witty, yet well-placed word play lyrics over beats that stretch your emotions. 
 While working to build a music career, he was also a full-time father and husband to his wife. He was caught in the vicious cycle of the street life and would find himself going in and out of prison in his early 20’s. While completing his four years with the New Jersey Department of Corrections, Gidda would be heavily influenced by the loss of his mother and wife. After returning home, the pain of that loss would be the driving force of Gidda’s recent project “Focus Up the EP”, released independently on February 18th, 2022, on all major streaming services, which was well received. 
 Recently finding a new beginning and creating his first studio album, Gidda wants to bring his life experiences along with a message of hope to listeners around the world. His album “Still Focused” is set to release in 2023. Gidda’s wisdom can be heard in each line and felt with each beat that was crafted for the project.
