Kip Macklejar's career as a solo artist began when another creative project imploded in quite spectacular fashion... Born & raised near London, Kip moved to his mother's home town of Copenhagen with the intention of working for a record label; but soon became discouraged by the commercial scene & instead chose to focus on writing & recording independently. Kip Macklejar is all about self reliance, with all of his music being written, recorded & performed solo by him - with the exception of drums - these creations are then released independently, despite offers from labels & management companies coming knocking. Kip's solo work is forever trying to steer away from boring & cliche images of modern rock bands, choosing instead to maintain a satirical tone & presentation.
