Jono est un artiste hip-hop basé à Moncton, Nouveau-Brunswick. En 2021, il compte des performances au festival Pop Montréal et au Festival 506 de Musique NB. En continuant sur cet élan, il a lancé son projet “Party Chenous”, nominé au prix Musique Nouveau-Brunswick, où il partage la réalisation avec BBZ Darney de la Suède. Le boom-bap de BBZ rencontre les sons modernes de Jono, pendant que Metaphyzik les appuie sur les tables tournantes. Le trio nous apporte dans leur monde, en visitant les sons du passé, du présent et du futur. Jono is a hip-hop artist and producer based out of Moncton, New-Brunswick. In 2021, he performed at Pop Montreal and Music NB’s Festival 506. Building on this momentum, he released his project “Party Chenous'' on April 20th, where he splits production duties with BBZ Darney from Sweden. The album was nominated for Music NB's recording of the year. BBZ’s dusty boom-bap collides with Jono’s grime & trap sounds, while Metaphyzik holds it down on the turntables. Bridging the gap between hip-hop’s different eras, they bring us sounds from the past, present and future.
