Daniele Scala was born in the south of Italy, when he was 18 he moved to Turin. In the last three years he started his musical project under the name of Daniel Checkmate. After a few years as a dj he decided to also start a career as a producer trying to improve his skills to be able to release on his favourite labels. Afterlife and all the artists connected to him are the real inspiration for Daniel, which are focused to improve everytime his productions are played aiming to give listeners the sensation to be part of a dark atmosphere. People could listen to Daniels work and can find how his sound is similar to other artists but also so unique to his genre and in time hoping to be able to work his way up into the music world.
