Gaja Prestor, also known simply as Gaja, has been accompanied by music since she was a child. She started singing in a choir and quickly fell deeply in love with singing and music so she enrolled in solo singing classes and music school, where she played piano, violin, viola, and learned to play guitar on her own. As a teenager, she was a member of the U3 youth music group and participated in music competitions. In 2016, she also appeared in the 6th season of the show Slovenia Has Talent. An important milestone in her musical path was the beginning of a collaboration with the author and producer Žan Serčič, with whom she created her first single To je,kar imam. The single was followed by the songs Ona and Decembra, and her successful beginnings brought her an award for the Best Pop Debutant in 2017/2018 from Menart music label. She later released the successful songs Najino nebo, Le tebe rabim and Verjamem vase, with which she competed at EMA2020. She created the next song, Zame, with a new team of authors, and then began collaborating with the duo zalagasper, with whom she created her latest single Sledi, under the international label Universal Music. In addition to music, she is also interested in makeup and fashion-posting such content on Instagram has brought her an enviable number of followers. Today, she is considered one of the most recognizable and successful influencers in Slovenia and she is looking forward to everything that is to come on her musical path.
