Swiss musician with Hungarian origins, Gàbor Barta is a classical violinist, jazz pianist, accordionist, improviser and composer. His compositions always try to cross the borders of written and unwritten music. Among his collaborations you can find musicians such as Marco Santilli, Daniel Schnyder, Yilian Canizares, Alexandre Cellier, Amandine, the Pacific Quartet Vienna, and David Brito. In addition to his activity as a musician, he is passionately dedicated to the younger generation, teaching and popularizing music for children. In 2014 he created « The Swinging Kids » , a children's jazz ensemble with which he recorded two albums and won different prizes at swiss youth competitions.
