Christian Granquist (The Atom, Small Imperfections) teamed up with New York alternative music veteran, former New Creatures keyboardist Johnathan Mooney, thereby creating the moniker Johnathan|Christian. With a songwriting approach that's been described as a "soundtrack to a dark thriller or doomed romance" Johnathan|Christian's music has been described as strongly reminiscent of romantic death-rock, 80's gothic and darkwave but with a modern production sheen. Teaming up with artists/remixers as Leaetherstrip, Tom Coyne (45 Grave) En Esch, Joe Letz (Combichrist) as well as vocalists Marianne Holland and Elisa Mammoliti the breadth of Johnathan|Christian within the dark wave landscape is well covered.
