Biography

JKian, born Jerome Terence Broxton (April 7, 1992) in Ludwigsburg, Germany, is a German/American songwriter and rapper. He sparked his love for music at a young age and was inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson and R.Kelly, among others. JKian was born into an international family and grew up in the 90s. He never lived in the same place for a long time, so he learned very quickly that home is not defined by where you live. To this day, he finds home everywhere and doesn't like to tie himself down to hometowns. JKian released his first single "I Can’t Wait“ feauturing International Live on April 16, 2021. A few months after this release, JKian then founded the label Collaborations Music together with Jonathan Schröder (manager and promoter). In 2018, he met the music producer Mahir Tek (of Meisterbeats KmH) from Stuttgart. They worked together on demo tapes every now and then, but in 2021 he and his colleague decide to go the official route - they release his music. Most of his songs are produced by Meisterbeats KmH, although he produces some songs himself to a large extent before they are completely finished. An example of this is his song "New World" which afterwards went to Meisterbeats KmH for completion. All of his lyrics come directly from his imagination and some are directed against himself. He has also collaborated with artists such as Fosace Jay, D-Young Diamontana and Producer 23k.
