PALMU, a vibrant Finnish/Moldovan queer singer/songwriter, is making waves in Berlin after signing with BMG Management Publishing GmbH. Stepping out of her classical musician family's shadow, PALMU infuses her visuals with fashion, theater, comedy, and a love for pop, electronic, and hip-hop. She describes her music as a fusion of Bebe Rexha, Kim Petras, and Qveen Herby. Collaborating with Grammy nominees and platinum/gold songwriters/producers who’ve worked with BTS, Rita Ora, Mabel, and others, PALMU brings joy to the world through quirky concepts and catchy choruses. Her debut feature amassed 50 million views on social media, and her tracks received airplay in Finland, Germany, and on the BBC. Proud to be on stage, PALMU opened for feminist rapper Princess Nokia and Ghanaian superstar Stonebwoy. In recent years, she has performed in the German queer scene, especially at Pride Festivals, and toured the Nordics. In the electronic scene, her vocals have been played by female DJs like Blond:sh and Spacer Woman at festivals including MELT. As a songwriter, PALMU co-wrote the Finnish Women's National Football team’s EM-song and "Brain On Fire" by Vescu ft. Ivan Giuse, which hit #11 on the Swiss radio Dance Charts. In 2024, PALMU is focusing on her upcoming EP and live performances. Her message is clear: "Express yourself as you want! You are beautiful and loved just the way you are!" Attend a PALMU gig and leave with the confidence to rock those crazy pants the next day!
