Aaron Owuor Tago professionally known as “Tago” is an African American Multi-Platinum Record Producer, Songwriter, and Artist who gained recognition in the hip hop industry after trailblazing “Type Beats” on Youtube and producing a multitude of records for top artists such as YG, Rod Wave, NBA Youngboy, and Moneybagg Yo. In 2015, Tago started his music career when he began uploading his production on Youtube under the alias “Yung Tago”. At the age of 5, Tago moved from the United States to Africa, after arriving in Kenya on what he thought would be a 6 month trip turned into a 3 year stay that would change his life forever. Once he moved to Africa, Tago’s passion for music began to spark after he heard tribal music, the ethereal sounds of the drums and other musical instruments had him hooked instantly. Since discovering his passion for music Tago has since gone onto produce multiple RIAA Certified Platinum and Gold records. In 2021, Tago officially released his first independent record titled “So Far Gone”. In 2022 he struck major success with another record titled “I’m Him” which featured artists Sheff G, Doe Boy & Eli Fross. In 2023, Tago released a trio record titled “4 EVA ME” that included songs “Tell Me What You Want” &“Reach 4 The Stars” which featured Roc Nation signed artist Johnny Cocoa, and “Fresh Out My Mind” featuring Vory.
