Larry Koomson, known professionally as Larizzle, is a London born DJ, broadcaster and music producer originating from Ghana. Also known as DJ Larizzle, he has made an impressive mark as a DJ, having performed alongside the likes of Nas, Damian Marley, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, French Montana, Stormzy and Mark Ronson to name but a few. He is also a two-time Official Mixtape Award winner and is one half of DJ duo LAJU, a partnership he forged with fellow DJ/Producer Juls in 2022. As broadcaster, he has featured on a number of UK radio stations including BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss Fresh and NTS Radio. He is currently a resident on BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Sounds’ Amapiano to AfroHouse mix show. Having begun his music production journey in the summer of 2020, Larizzle has already collaborated with soul, funk and disco legends Kool & The Gang, in addition to collaborations with Chef Sean, Azekel, Nao, Safiyyah and more. Larizzle would describe his sound as 'UK Afro House', fusing his love for the sounds of Amapiano, Afro House and UK Funky. Larizzle is also founder and CEO of independent record label Larah Records, a label founded in memory of his late daughter.
