Ouanounou, from the south of France and based in Montpellier, has been co-founder, label manager, producer and DJ of the Monstart label since 2009. His DJ sets and residencies have resonated in famous clubs in France and Europe, where he is specialized in a wide range of musical genres, from Global Bass music to more specific styles such as Dancehall, Reggaeton, Grime, Kuduro, Baile Funk, Juke/Footwork and Ghetto House. His debut EP entitled "Début" released on Monstart in 2014 placed him on the club culture scene as a producer known for percussive rhythms, and genre fusion. Subsequently, he developed the Monstart label with 19 releases noticed by the scene. Resident at Rinse France for 5 years, he has been based at Piñata Radio for a monthly residency since 2021. In 2019, he created the Audioscore studio, where he took on the role of music supervisor for global TV campaigns such as Sidaction, Honda, Skyn, Oppo, etc. Through his 15-year career, Ouanounou offers us in 2023 his new EP "Stepping Out, composed of 10 tracks, including 4 unreleased remixes. Exploring club energy in the 130-160 BPM range, this highly UK-influenced project is an ode to club effervescence.
