David "Yungin" Kim, a Seoul-born audio engineer turned music producer, is a trailblazer in the industry, boasting three Grammy Awards for his contributions to acclaimed projects like Nas' "King's Disease," Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly," and Nipsey Hussle, Roddy Rich, and Hitboy’s “Racks in the Middle”. Yungin made history as the first Korean-born individual to win a Grammy outside of classical music, a testament to his exceptional talent and groundbreaking impact on the global music scene. Originally from Seoul, Korea, Yungin's passion for music led him to study audio engineering, graduating top of his class from Musicians Institute in 2010. He caught the eye of industry leaders, securing an internship at Chalice Recording Studios in Los Angeles, where he rose to head engineer over six years, impressing figures like Hit-Boy, a renowned producer and rapper. Yungin has since collaborated with top artists including RM, Jimin, and j-hope of BTS, Kai of EXO, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, and Ariana Grande.
