''In My Heart' sounds like promise. I'm no music expert but I'll try and explain what I mean by that in this short review. The initial build up for the song features a sounds that invoke a myriad of feelings and thoughts. For me personally, I closed my eyes and felt the cool seaside air on some unknown coast, as I drove down a wide empty road in a vehicle that wouldn't look out of place in a 80s period drama. I was overcome by the sudden feeling of promise, promise of something new and fresh. I felt at peace with this, knowing that eventually I'd reach my destination but for the time being I can just enjoy the journey. This feeling was reinforced at around 2 minutes when some vocals came in, synthed well and very fitting to the melody. The song continues to take me down this road, enjoying the sun and breeze.
