Winner of the Janina Nawrocka Prize for “extraordinary musicality and the beauty of sound” at the Chopin Competition in Warsaw in 2010; Leonora Armellini confirmed her elective relationship with the Polish composer, winning the Fifth Prize at the 2021 edition - a result that makes her the first Italian woman to have reached one of the highest steps of this coveted podium. Leonora has always "forged ahead", graduating at the age of twelve from the conservatory with honors and mention, winning the Venice Prize unanimously in 2005, finishing her specialization under the guidance of Sergio Perticaroli at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia at the age of 17 in Rome and graduating from the Imola Academy under the guidance of Boris Petrushansky in 2018. The numerous awards and his intense and regular activity as a soloist and chamber musician for important festivals and seasons in Italy and abroad testify to the well-deserved notoriety of the Paduan pianist in the world concert scene. She currently teaches Piano at the “A. Buzzolla ”of Adria. Official website: https://www.leonoraarmellini.eu/
