Koast is a Bristol-based MC/host and DJ, primarily affiliated with the dubstep and UK Funky scenes. After initially breaking through as 1/7th of raucous live act Central Spillz and as resident MC for Bristol's The Blast event series, he's also appeared at some of the UK's best regarded club nights such as FabricLive, Hospitality, Detonate & Keysound Sessions, hosting for the cream of DJs across the 125-140bpm spectrum along the way. Koast has also regularly played at festivals (as both a DJ and host) such as Glastonbury, Outlook, Boomtown Fair, Hospitality on the Beach, Love Saves The Day, NASS, Nozstock and Tokyo World and has performed internationally in the USA, Croatia, Holland & Belgium, as well as racking up guest spots on both Rinse FM & Reprezent Radio. Beyond the live sphere, he’s also further boosted his reputation through his involvement with launching Bristol underground radio station SWU FM, and garnering the support of some of the scene’s key players through his label, Durkle Disco.
