Tae Hood grew up around older peers who made songs to address beefs they had with other neighborhoods around Cleveland. He was fascinated with the witty banter, and grew to love it. It wasn’t until 2018 that he started to seriously entertain a career in music. 
 There’s only one Tae Hood. He’s the only person living his life, and no one else can tell his story and speak on his experiences. The fact that he can do so across different genres further sets him apart. Tae realized early on that in order to stay true to himself, he’d have to avoid the more generic, mainstream subject matter in rap and address what’s important. 
 When in the studio, Tae takes the reigns and works at his own pace. He plays with different tools on the boards, and has picked up a few things from a friend who’s an engineer. He’s also become proficient with auto-tune and harmonizing.
