Hailing from New England, The 6ix, is an up and coming music act with a penchant for delivering infectious tunes, bringing audiences on a sonic escapade. This hardcore and dark group from Maine and Vermont has a unique sound that is a distinct blend of trap music, heavy metal, and chopper rap. With their high-energy live shows and crowd interaction, they're quickly becoming known for their dynamic performances. Formed in 2020, The 6ix has been working together on different projects and groups since 2017, drawing inspiration from all forms of music, but most heavily influenced by trap music and heavy metal acts such as Tech N9ne, $uicideboy$, and Slipknot. They've toured with artists like Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and Bizarre of D12, and have been direct support for numerous hip hop acts including Tech N9ne and Shaggy 2 Dope of Insane Clown Posse. Their debut EP, "Black Magic & Trap Houses," is set to drop on all streaming services on March 17, 2023. To celebrate the release, The 6ix will embark on a massive summer tour in 2023, hitting up cities across the country to showcase their unique sound and electrifying live show. The 6ix is also the proud host of their own 3 day, 2 night hip hop and cannabis festival called "656 Fest" in Maine.
