YORKIE: He gave the embryonic Teardrop Explodes and Echo & The Bunnymen their first rehearsal space, worked for Zoo Records, formed both The Dance Party & Egypt For Now with Michael Head (The Pale Fountains, Shack) and later The Balcony. He produced the debut single for platinum selling, Liverpool Indie giants SPACE and went on to tour the world with the band as Bass player/backing vocalist. He produced multiple demos for the band, as well as 90% of their B’sides, as well as contributing production, arrangements and song-writing for their albums ‘Spiders’, ‘Tin Planet’, ‘Love You More Than Football’ and ‘Suburban Rock ‘n’ Roll’. He has just re-released his solo work as specially remastered anniversary editions. He continues writing music with his band Moongoose.
