Thomas Hazey is a South African Recording Artist, Songwriter & occasional beat-maker from Boksburg, Gauteng - born 18 March 1997. A core member of the music collective Frequency Manipulation (FM), founded alongside fellow long-time collaborator Daev Martian, Hazey has been recording & releasing music on the Internet from as early as 2010. Hazey is a somewhat introspective, thoughtful & talented urban artist who's ready to stand besides anybody who actually believes they can rap, move a crowd & engage with their audience meaningfully. As Hazey would put it himself - " My aim is to always express myself, my ideas and how I feel, in the most appropriate way at that particular moment. Sometimes that may be over trap-esque beats, other times it may be over more melodic and downtempo beats - and sometimes neither. I don't like boxing myself in, at least not sonically. I'm just an intentional writer who enjoys putting words together in ways that make sense to me and my intended audience " Hazey's catalogue is evidence of such - his appetite for putting words together & reinventing his approach to song, is undeniable. Hazey gained some notoriety after being featured on Daev Martian's Frequency Manipulation album, as one of the only features on the album.
