Ermete Lo Stige from Tuscany, Italy, is a musician since the '90s, and then a DJ, who has always been fond of underground music and subctultures. He begun with console and clubbing in 2015, in the new wave scene, and in this year he decide to stop playing bass and drums to devote himself exclusively to the activities of DJing and producing. His eclectic style is deeply rooted in minimal and eighties sounds, but mixed with many other influences, such as: new beat, downtempo, synthwave, techno, indie dance and dark disco, creating a personal, unique sound, always deeply connected with the dancefloor. The intention of Ermete Lo Stige is to create for the listeners an approach to electronic music experienced as culture, a safe moment and a vehicle of sharing: a living art that speaks to the world, that emotions and expresses itself through the body. He has currently released different works either as solo artist and as a contributor/remixer and he has attended with live and DJ Sets in hundreads of events, and clubs. The narrative and the evolution of Ermete Lo Stige's artistic path as producer and composer initially created dystopian and experimental worlds, later giving it a more modern edge aimed at the dancefloor. A journey between dark atmospheric and ambient melodies, but with a tendency to go towards a more techno and disco sound: it has new productions in the pipeline that make a clean break from the past and embrace clubbing in a decisive way.
