Major influences range from traditional rappers such as Jay-Z, Eminem, Outkast & Dipset, to the dominant MC’s of the 2010’s: J. Cole, Drake, Kendrick, Big Sean, & Tyler, The Creator. With a heavy rap influence, came a hint of R&B influence from other acts such as Frank Ocean, Joji, Sampha & The Weeknd. All packaged together, Yagod is a product of his environment, crafting a sound that ties together the hard-hitting lyricism of the North, with the intricate production of modern Hip-Hop, while minding an ear for melodic earworms.
