Mantangi means survivor. I was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and raised in Killeen, now residing in San Antonio. In the midst of challenging circumstances and growing up in poverty, I discovered my purpose: to weave authentic stories through music. My rhymes draw inspiration from the tapestry of these three influential locations. Poetry and music became my outlet—a catalyst for change. In 2002, a pivotal moment shifted my path. I found solace and purpose in faith, and serving the Lord became integral to my identity. My lyrics now carry messages of hope and redemption found in Christ Jesus. As a member of the dynamic Die Empty (DYMT) Crew, I push boundaries and break stereotypes. Our fusion of everlasting sounds captivates audiences, challenging the rap industry's status quo. Beyond DYMT, I'm an active member of the Rap Society community. Collaborating with fellow artists, I contribute to hip-hop's evolution. I aim to make a lasting impact by giving all that God's given me back to the world and die completely empty.
