Tadasana’s Chinese - Irish heritage is easily recognized in his style and vernacular. He is an all-in-one artist / producer / singer / rapper / songwriter / audio engineer who honed his craft while studying music at The University of the Pacific in his native state of California. His favorite contemporaries include Russ Diemon, Jon Bellion, EDEN, Post Malone, Blackbear, and Jeremy Zucker. He claims that he enjoys music most when it is made by artists who write, produce, and record their own songs as it creates a holistic soundscape in which the listener is invited into an entire sonic realm. He draws inspiration not from these musicians but instead from his own personal heroes such as Bruce Lee, Alan Watts, and Steph Curry, stating, “I don’t want my music to sound like anything else, but I do want it to inspire my fans to be better people the way that my role models have inspired me.” Tadasana's latest project, Raw Milk, dauntlessly dives into the future bass genre. ‘We’re gonna play Coachella. No doubt about that, and now I’ve got my Coachella set - Raw Milk is hype as f***, it’s perfect festival music, people are gonna go ape s***.” Only time will tell when he will take the stage in Indio Valley, but Tadasana’s positive message confidence and faith in his music seem to take him wherever he desires to go.
