The Musical Junkies established May 8th of 2012. Before the Musical Junkies existed, Wisdom and The Buda Lord used to be part of a group called the Inovadors. Shortly after both individuals left the Inovaders and decided to make music together as a duo group finishing a whole mixtape before tossing the whole idea away. Nevertheless, they later released a song titled "Musical Junkies" giving them the idea to form a group around the song name. Rah 1 being The Buda Lord's older brother, later joined the group and the three finished their first mixtape titled "Diverse Styles." Stepping foot into the performing environment, they received the attention of other artists and people because of their hype stage presence. In addition, Wisdom introduced the group to a very talented EmCee named Kwiot Caution based out of Rockford, Illinois. After a bunch of sessions, freestyles, and tracks; Kwiot Caution also became a member of the group. After the Musical Junkies finished both "Junkie Tapes." Later compressing their work into one mixtape titled Junkie Tapes: Then & Now. The Musical Junkies are a group of four individuals, The Buda Lord, Wisdom, Rah 1, and Kwiot Caution. They are based out of Los Angeles.
