Born May 25, 2005, UL1TO is an upcoming artist from Atlanta, GA. Coming from a Tanzanian household, UL1TO would listen to artists like Diamond Platnumz and Mbosso. Although he would listen to artists like Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber on the side, It wasn’t until 2018 where he would discover rap music. He would listen to artists like XXXTENTACION, Trippie Redd, POORSTACY and Juice WRLD. He would be inspired by those artists and attempt to make music under that direction, but he was never satisfied with the outcome. Before going by UL1TO, he went by the name goodnightLito, a name he felt like didn’t fit him anymore. He felt like he didn’t know who he was until he discovered legendary producer MIKE DEAN. There’s no denying Lito was in love with his production skills. His love for Mike Dean got him listening to artists like Travis Scott, Kanye West, and Frank Ocean. At the time, Lito was taking a break from music, but he knew he needed a new name and image to go by if he wanted to do music again. This was when he decided to go by the name UL1TO, an acronym which stands for U Live 1 Time Only. This served as a reminder for him to slow down on drugs because you only live one time in life.
