Biography

‘MeloMance’, a duo of Kim MinSeok and Jeong DongHwan, who were alumni from the department of applied music at Seoul Institute of the Arts, began their career by releasing the EP [Sentimental] in March 2015. MeloMance, who was recognized for their outstanding musical talents – writing, composing, and arranging the songs in all of their albums, has released many songs such as 'Just Friends', 'Tale', 'You&I', 'Festival', and 'Invitation'. Every time they released their songs, they received a lot of love one after another and even earned the title ‘Believe, Listen, MeloMance’ (which means MeloMance that you can trust enough to listen to). As a solo singer-songwriter, Kim MinSeok released solo albums such as the single ‘Spring Comes' and EP [cinema]. Jeong DongHwan is a pianist who has already won the best soloist and grand prize at Jazz Concours even before his debut. After his debut as MeloMance, he has continued to work on performances and albums with senior and junior artists such as Kim Dong-ryul, Park Hyo-shin, Park Jung-hyun, Paul Kim. In 2021, he also released [White], a piano collection full of his own piano colors, showing his world of music as a pianist. By successfully completing their national tours in 11 cities, a total of 21 performances held from December 2022 to March 2023, and also releasing the single ‘A Shining Day’ in 2023, MeloMance has continued to work actively in their field and strengthen their own genre.
